This system recognizes the priority of filling high-pressure gas to tank banks. When sending gas from storage tanks to the distributor, the priority board activates the best gas route, which is the most pressurized bank of tanks. The proper design of this system saves energy and increases the speed of refueling.
Priority panel is a sequence control unit which direct the gas from station storage system (cylinder cascades, tank or underneath well) to dispenser, with priority and direct fill function.
CNG at fast-fill stations is often stored in the vessels at a high service pressure (4,300 psi) so the dispenser can deliver it to a vehicle quickly. The dispenser uses sensors to calculate pressure and measure the number of gasoline gallon equivalents (GGEs) delivered to the tank, taking temperature into account.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a gasoline and diesel fuel alternative consisting primarily of methane. The gas is associated with other fossil fuels (coal or oil) and is created by methanogenic organisms in landfills.
