RGB LED controllers work on a much simpler principal. They alter the power on each of the three channels (red, green and blue) to create a specific colour mix. To generate a purple colour, for example, the red and blue channels would be wound up, and the green channel turned off completely.
RGB color is also prevalent within the lighting industry. RGB is an acronym for the colors red, green, and blue. When those three lights are combined with a single unit to create millions of color options, mixing all 250 shades available from each base element can display over 16 million combinations!
The button will have “RGB” at its side. To cycle through lighting modes, press and hold the hardware control button for 3 seconds until the lighting mode changes. To change the colors in a lighting mode, press the button briefly and the color will change.
RGB stands for red, green and blue, and RGB lighting allows you to create over 16 million different color combinations using these three primary colors. RGB lighting is used in PC components and accessories to illuminate your PC.
