There are four main types: warm, woody, oriental and fresh, each with a different fragrance combination.

are divided into four fragrance families: woody, floral, amber and fresh. These families are each represented on the Perfume Wheel, a circular chart that illustrates the relationship of the four fragrance families to their corresponding sub-families.
Eau de Toilette, also known as pure perfume, has the highest fragrance concentration. Perfumes contain between 15% and 40% fragrance, but most perfumes are usually between 20% and 30%. Of all the fragrances, perfumes have the longest lasting scent, usually 6 to 8 hours.
Vanilla is a popular fragrance for both men and women. This sweet scent has an alluring and playful feel. The scent of vanilla is both comforting and charming. In a 2017 study, researchers presented nearly 400 participants with 66 odors at two different concentrations.
